Terms and Conditions

Clients, please read, understand, and agree to all terms and conditions in this document updated January 20, 2024. Print page to save a copy for your records.

Arrivals, Reschedules, and Cancellations:

Clients are encouraged to arrive 5 minutes early to allow time for parking and getting settled in the workout studio or office.  Frequent late arrivals may result in you needing to pick a different appointment timeslot.

Clients must give at least 24 hours notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Email mapmakercoaching@gmail.com for cancellations or reschedules.

Packages are non-refundable. Partial refunds are given only in cases of unforeseeable circumstances that prevent you from attending your remaining un-used sessions (family emergencies, medical issues, etc.)

Packages must be used within 12 months of purchase date.

Support Between Sessions - Conditions:

All Coaching Packages include support between sessions via email. Here are the details:

- All support initiated by the client outside of appointment times must be sent via email

- Coach will typically reply within 24 business hours. (May be longer if coach is out of office or on vacation.)

- Examples of encouraged uses for this feature: updating coach on health habits, asking for clarification on topics discussed during previous appointments, telling coach what you want to focus on for next appointment, sharing how the big exam went, and other topics along those lines.

- This feature does not allow:  Requesting additional content / materials (workout plans, etc.). These types of services can be included in your appointments.  

For mental health and medical emergencies, please contact 988 (Crisis Lifeline- mental health) or 911. In non-emergency urgent circumstances, clients can reach out to their primary care doctor or go to an urgent care provider.

Coach Allison is not a mental health professional or medical provider.

Liability

Physical exercise has some inherent risks. Clients are responsible for communicating their limits, preferences, needs, and concerns. Clients are responsible for stopping exercise, to prevent injury, when pain or other concerns arise.

Clients assume all responsibility for bodily injuries, damages to personal property, and/or other losses that occur during participation in coaching packages. 

Light wear and tear of spaces and equipment is normal and expected, and costs are covered by Mapmaker Coaching. However, Client agrees to cover costs to fix any undue, excessive, or unexpected damages that result from client's use of coaching spaces and equipment (including but not limited to damage to the office space, workout space, and/or parking area that is used by MapMaker Coaching, LLC).  

Confidentiality

Mapmaker Coaching, LLC keeps all client information confidential. If client is working with other health professionals, and wishes for information to be shared between other providers and Mapmaker Coaching, they will need to sign a consent form for their information to be shared.

Please note, If there are any concerns around client safety, or there is threat of harm to the client or other people, the coach will discuss this with the client and in most cases contact others for help

Allergies

During appointments, clients may be offered tea, and/or other nutritious foods/drinks, as a part of the appointments.

Clients are responsible for reporting all dietary and non-dietary allergies to their coach, and avoiding allergy-inducing foods. Clients will not hold MapMaker Coaching, LLC responsible for any allergic reactions or bodily harm that may arise during their coaching package.

Payments

Payment is due in full upon submitting the Sign up form,  unless an alternative payment plan was arranged during the free consultation.
